Our Aftercare Services
Aftercare for a pet is a very personal decision, with no right or wrong way to go about it. There are a range of cremation options, including carefully crafted urns to keep them with you forever, or beautiful weathered stones to place in their favourite resting spot outside.
You can trust us to do the organisation for you, or alternatively, if you prefer being more involved in their aftercare, we will leave them in your hands after our visit.
Individual Cremation
From $375
Your beloved dog, cat or exotic pet will be carefully transported to the crematorium where they will be individually cremated, and their ashes hand-delivered back into your care.
There are a range of memorial options to choose from that can be personalised according to your wishes. From beautifully crafted urns and elegant headstones to carefully selected ash jewelry and unique keepsakes, each memorial is created with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Cremation with others
$220
+$50 for dogs over 20kg
Your pet will be cremated with other loved ones, and the collective ashes scattered in the woodside gardens of our cremation partner. We’ll look after all of the transport for you.
This is a more affordable option for those that choose not to bury their pet.
Home Burial
If you wish to bury your pet at home, we will leave them in your care after the visit, and can provide you with a dignified casket to bury them in.
Grief Counselling
We understand that the grieving process can be overwhelming. Our compassionate staff are here to provide support and guidance throughout every step of the way, and can organise a specialised pet grief counsellor for you. You are never alone in your grief, and we are here to hold your hand and offer comfort.
Funeral Services
At Hold My Paws, we believe that pets deserve the same respect and dignity in death as they did in life. The mission for our funeral service is to provide a space where you can mourn as well as celebrate the life of your beloved pet in a heartfelt and meaningful way. We strive to create a serene environment that allows you to find solace and pay tribute to the memories that will forever hold a special place in your heart.
We transport your pet and any items, letters or poems you would like to go with them to the crematorium, and then deliver their ashes back to you in the memorial you’ve chosen. Frames can be made of their paw and nose prints. We will organise flowers and catering for the day.
